This policy explains how Aging at Home Advisor collects, uses, and discloses personal information, and the choices available to you. It is written to be read — short sections, plain language.

Aging at Home Advisor is operated by ROI PERFORMANCE LLC, entity number 2019-000869316, located at 13727 SW 152 Street #848, Miami, FL 33177, United States. Privacy contact: support@agingathomeadvisor.com.

Aging at Home Advisor is an independent consumer-information and referral website. It is not a home-improvement contractor, government agency, Medicare or Medicaid representative, Veterans Affairs representative, medical provider, insurance company, law firm, or financial advisor, and it does not guarantee contractor performance, project pricing, funding, eligibility, or availability.

Potentially sensitive information

The website does not request medical records, diagnoses, Social Security numbers, financial-account details, or insurance-member numbers through its standard project forms. Please do not submit unnecessary medical or health information. If you voluntarily provide information about mobility, disability, or health needs, it will be used only as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, route it appropriately, comply with the law, and maintain relevant records.

4. Sources of information

  • Directly from you
  • Automatically from your device and browser
  • From advertising and analytics providers
  • From referral partners
  • From service professionals responding to a referral
  • From call-tracking and CRM systems

5. How we use information

  • Respond to inquiries
  • Provide educational content
  • Match consumers with home-improvement professionals
  • Deliver and administer leads
  • Communicate by phone, text, or email when authorized
  • Attribute advertising and conversions
  • Improve the website
  • Prevent fraud and maintain security
  • Record consent and opt-outs
  • Comply with legal duties, enforce agreements, and resolve disputes

6. How information is disclosed

We disclose personal information to these categories of recipients:

  • Independent home-improvement professionals that may serve your area
  • LeadByte (our CRM, acting as a service provider processing data on our instructions)
  • A call-tracking provider (to be named before call tracking is enabled)
  • Google (analytics and tag management)
  • Meta (advertising measurement)
  • Cloudflare (hosting, DNS, security, delivery)
  • Professional advisors
  • Government or law-enforcement authorities where legally required
  • Successors in a merger, asset transfer, financing, or sale

Independent professionals receiving a lead may become separate businesses responsible for their own use of the information. Their services, privacy practices, contracts, prices, and work are separate from Aging at Home Advisor.

7. Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising

Aging at Home Advisor may disclose project inquiries to home-improvement professionals in connection with its referral and lead-generation business, and may use Meta Pixel and similar advertising technologies. Some US privacy laws may define one or more of these activities as a “sale” of personal information, “sharing” of personal information, or “targeted advertising.”

You may exercise applicable opt-out rights through Your Privacy Choices. We also honor recognized Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals: when your browser sends GPC, advertising technologies do not load and the advertising opt-out is saved automatically.

One distinction matters: advertising tracking (Meta Pixel, analytics) is passive measurement you can opt out of at any time. A contractor referral is different — it happens only when you actively submit the lead form asking us to share your project inquiry. Opting out of advertising never blocks the lead form, and cookie preferences are never treated as consent to share a project inquiry.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

See the Cookie Policy for what we use and why, and Cookie Settings to change your choices at any time.

9. Telephone, email, and text communications

You may request contact regarding a project. Communications may come from Aging at Home Advisor or from independent professionals that received your inquiry. You may revoke consent at any time: text recipients may reply STOP where supported; email recipients may use the unsubscribe mechanism; call recipients may request placement on our internal Do Not Call list. We retain consent records for legal compliance. Consent to marketing is never a condition of purchasing a product or service.

10. Call tracking and recording

Telephone numbers displayed on the website may use call-tracking technology to identify the page, campaign, or source associated with a call. Calls may be monitored or recorded only where permitted by law and after any notice or consent required by applicable law.

Configuration required before launch: CALL_TRACKING_PROVIDER_NAME is not yet selected. Before enabling call tracking, this policy must name the provider, link its privacy policy, and describe the data it processes. Recording remains disabled until state-by-state consent handling, the call announcement, retention, access permissions, and legal review are complete.

11. Data retention

Lead, referral, consent, call-detail, and compliance records

Retained for up to five years after the relevant interaction, or longer when reasonably required by law, litigation hold, dispute, enforcement, or contractual obligation.

Call recordings (if ever enabled)

Retained only for the shortest configured period reasonably necessary for quality, dispute resolution, security, and compliance. The exact period (CALL_RECORDING_RETENTION_PERIOD) will be published once configured — it is intentionally not stated until then.

Analytics and advertising information

Retained according to the configured settings of Google, Meta, and other providers, subject to your choices and applicable law.

Privacy requests and opt-outs

Retained as reasonably necessary to honor the request and demonstrate compliance. Information is deleted, aggregated, or de-identified when no longer reasonably needed.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information — including access limitations, encryption in transit where supported, and vendor diligence. No website or system can guarantee absolute security.

13. US privacy rights

Depending on your state of residence and whether an applicable law covers this business, you may have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we process your personal information
  • Access your personal information
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete information
  • Obtain a portable copy
  • Opt out of sale, sharing, and targeted advertising
  • Limit certain uses of sensitive information
  • Appeal a denied request
  • Use an authorized agent
  • Receive equal service and pricing after exercising rights

Submit requests through Your Privacy Choices or support@agingathomeadvisor.com. We verify identity using the information already on file (for example, matching your email or phone number to the request); an authorized agent must provide reasonable proof of authorization. We respond within the time an applicable law allows.
